Pattern is a patchwork afghan; squares have varying motifs. Squares are knit and sewn together; border is crocheted.

Pattern calls for 1.33-1.75 oz. skeins 3-ply baby-weight yarn (no brand or yardage given): 3 skeins white, one each pink, mint green, blue, and yellow.

A note by the pattern says the designer also uses this pattern to make lap-sized afghans: 63 squares using worsted-weight yarn, #7 and 8 (4.5 and 5 mm) needles, and G/4.25mm hook.
