Hearts in Love Mosaic Scarf
This “reversible” scarf is nice and heavy to keep your neck warm during cold winter weather. The hearts always face up when draped around the back of the neck. When using 2 contrasting colors, the heart design really pops! Wear this scarf for a special Valentine’s Day or any day of the year to share your love with others!
The scarf is made in the Spike SC Mosaic Crochet technique, with only one color used in each row and all rows worked on the right side. My COM technique is used to eliminate virtually all of the tails/ends of yarn!
The pattern includes full written instructions for each row of the scarf, a mosaic chart to follow (if you prefer to use charts), instructions and step-by-step photos for the Spike SC stitch and for using my COM technique, a check list to keep track of which row you’re working in the pattern, as well as the full yardage needed to crochet the scarf, using the COM technique.
To learn the Spike SC Mosaic Crochet technique, watch my YouTube video here: https://youtu.be/Inx7Qjd2Gtw.
The scarf, as shown, uses 150-180 yards of each of the 2 contrasting colors of worsted weight yarn. DK weight yarn may be used instead for a more drapy scarf.
