Super simple colorwork makes this pretty cowl a great first stranded project or an easy project for anyone. Using the principles of sequence knitting as described by Cecelia Campociaro in her book of the same name, the same 6-stitch colorwork pattern is worked through the entire cowl over a multiple of 6 plus 2 stitches which produces the heartstrings pattern as it shifts over 2 stitches with each round. Once you’ve established the pattern, you won’t need to work from the chart.
