Heather Flower mitts
These Fair Isle mitts are a great way of using up odd balls of Jamieson & Smith Jumper Weight yarn. Using classic flower motifs, corrugated ribbing and a chequerboard pattern on the palms, they’re a great introduction to traditional stranded colourwork knitting.
The ‘afterthought’ thumbs are also worked in the two-colour rib. We have suggested an alternative colourway for Chart B, which uses the same shades listed in the information panel.
