This pattern was written specifically for a Heather Ellis Art Trunk Show at A Little Knitty. Her worsted weight yarn in the Salt Lamp colorway kept screaming at me that it needed to be a hat!!!

This pattern is written for an adult head (approximately 20”-22”) the length of the body of the hat can be knit longer for a slouchy version (instructions are given for both fitted and slouchy).

Pattern includes a few Knit 4 together/ Knit 4 together through the back loop, but you are given an alternative because those K4togtbl can be a pain in the booty!!

I knit another one using a hand-dyed DK from Wildstar fibers. The plumper DK’s are so close to worsted that I got exact gauge!
