Here is a nice, slouchy hat knit in a textured cotton yarn that derives its interest from stitches slipped with the yarn in front. To need it, you will need 135 - 145 yards of a heavier worsted weight yarn (the one I used is, as mentioned, textured), and 16” circular needles in size 6 and size 8, as well as a set of double pointed needles, also in size 8.
