This pretty slouch style hat works is made with a J size hook and less than one skein of Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. I works up as one solid piece that you sew together when you reach the desired circumference and then cinch closed at the top. The HDC in the BLO creates a nice textured stitch and the wrapped HDC stitches bring more to the visually stunning look without taking away from the warmth the hat provides.
The ribbing is part of the whole piece so there is no need to sew it on separately. Top this off with a pom-pom and you’ll have a very pretty, warm, and useful winter hat.
