Hecate
This Hat is named for Hecate, the Greek goddess of doorways and crossroads whose three bodies moved as one. Hecate is a jigsaw of connected cubes, working together to create a beautiful pattern from simple shapes.
Each Hat in the Imperceptions collection is knitted bottom-up and in the round. The ideal yarn for these Hats is 4-ply or light sportweight, in a multi-plied fibre with some natural give, such as merino. The illusions look their best in two high-contrast colours.
The patterns in Imperceptions are provided in both written and charted format, and are graded through gauge. Two sizes are included in each pattern, and further help for grading with different yarns and needle sizes is available on the Woolly Wormhead forum.
Available as a single pattern or as part of the Imperceptions collection.
Merinowolle, in 4-fdg bzw 6-fdg Sockenwollstärke.
