Hedgerows are a vitally important to maintaining bio diversity in Scotland along the paved places that criss-cross the county side. Inspired by the rosehips and blackberries that poke out between the branches and vines in the hedgerows, waiting for a critter to munch on or to be plucked for jam.

Finished Measurements: 11” (28 cm) long, 18” (45.5 cm) circumference at the cast on and 33” (84 cm) circumference at the bind off.

Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn, 300 yards (275 m)

50% Alpaca, 50% Corriedale, 3.5 oz (100g) = 220 yards (201 m)

Needles: U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needles with a length of 16” or smaller
U.S. size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needles with a length of 18” or smaller (note: you will be increasing so you can switch to longer as you work)

Gauge: 18 sts and 30 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette
