Hedgerows & Footpaths Cowl
Inspired by the serene beauty of the English countryside, this stitch sampler cowl brings together the magically shifting hues of a color-changing ‘Blossoms’ cake with two delicate lace patterns. Conjuring images of quaint villages adorned with thatched roofs, the stitch patterns evoke the verdant landscape of hedges, leaves, and vines.
Yarn: 1 4oz Blossom cake on Mad Hatter (sport), 344 yards, 100% superwash merino, featured in ‘Tulip’
Needles & Notions: US size 5/ 3.75mm circular needles, 16”-20”/40-50cm long OR size needed to get proper gauge, yarn needle, 1 stitch marker to mark start of round (optionally more to mark pattern repeats)
Gauge: 23 sts & 32 rounds = 4”/ 10 cm in Falling Leaves pattern, blocked
Measurements: 27”/ 68.5 cm around and 14”/35.5 cm tall, blocked
