A gorgeous traditional style Christmas stocking worked in 2 colours - a real heirloom piece that will add elegance hung by your chimney on Christmas Eve.

I worked this in Elann Bamboo - but anything of a similar tension would do - I’ve also used Rowan Cotton Glacé, Wendy mercerised cotton and some stash merino.

Great fun to work for beginners and the more experienced knitter alike.

I’ve already had orders to knit this from family and friends - and it’s still only blocking!
