Helene features lightweight stripes in moody colours. The generous, boxy fit makes this summer top a true favourite. It is worked from the top down in one piece. After working the shoulder increases, the yoke is separated for back and front. The short sleeves are shaped with short rows.

Yarn: 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins of Donegal Tweed by Kässäkerho Pom Pom (85% SW Merino, 15% viscose, 440 yds / 400 m – 100 g), colourway Hiili as main colour (MC). Or approx. 560 (635, 720, 820, 920, 1030, 1120, 1200, 1290) yds / 510 (580, 660, 750, 840, 940, 1020, 1100, 1180) m of fingering weight yarn.
2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins of Donegal Tweed by Kässäkerho Pom Pom (85% SW Merino, 15% viscose, 440 yds / 400 m – 100 g), colourway Haave as contrasting colour (CC). Or 520 (590, 680, 750, 830, 920, 1010, 1090, 1180) yds / 480 (540, 620, 690, 760, 840, 920, 1000, 1080) m of fingering weight yarn.
Needles: US 1.5 / 2.5 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles and US 2.5 / 3 mm 32” / 80 cm circular needles and DPNs for sleeves in each size if not using magic loop method for short circumference knitting, or size needed to obtain the gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle.
GAUGE
26 sts x 36 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 2.5 / 3 mm needles in Stockinette stitch, after blocking.
