Helianthus Shawl
by Mone Dräger
This pattern is only available as part of the Knit Picks ‘Garter Ridge’ collection.
Helianthus gets its name from the plant genus comprised of sunflowers, as seen by the petal shaping in this breathtaking shawl. Preciosa fingering yarn highlights the organic feel of this shawl and creates a lovely drape. The Heilianthus shawl is knit in one piece, so except for the first segment there are always stitches to keep on hold. It consists of modules which are shaped with German short rows.
Errata:
First Segment in C1 the final increase row should read:
Increase Row 9: DS, K16, (KFB, K20) 17 times, KFB, K15.
