Worked flat until the last few rows, this hat is an great project for beginning knitters who want to try out a few simple sweater knitting techniques. An attached button band means no picking up stitches. Crisp raglan-style decreases make it suitable for men or women. Easy stripes are a great introduction to color-work and a great way to burn through leftover yarn.
