A little top down tam with a twist or two. The crown is knitted flat with double increases and decreases that create an heptagon highlighted by purled rows. Once you reach the full width of the hat, you can join in the round and knit in stockinette stitch in the round. This makes easier to work the crown as you will not need to fiddle with DPNs or with magic loop, but also keeps most of the knitting seamless. If you prefer to completely avoid kitting in the round, just work the following stockinette section and ribber border flat and seam across the back of the hat.

Questo rende la corona del berretto facile da lavorare dato che non avrete bisogno di destreggiarci con il gioco di ferri o il magic loop, ma permette di eseguire la maggior parte del lavoro senza cuciture. Se preferite eseguire l’intero cappello in piano, semplicemente proseguite senza chiudere in tondo e, alla fine del lavoro, cucite sul retro anche il bordo a coste e la parte a maglia rasata.
