This is a beanie type fitted fair isle hat knitted in the round. The stranded colors are combined with textured leaves pattern into an eye-catching symbolic autumn combination. The strong contrasting border lines enhance the overall effect forming a flower at the crown.

The piece combines a number of techniques like stranded knitting, color cabling, specific texture pattern, so it will never be boring up until the last stitch. There are also some tips included to help you achieve best results. It will be important to be able to keep even tension when working fair isle in order to display properly the texture design.

The pattern is designed for aran wool, available in two sizes – to fir child/small adult and adult. Currently it is chart only (no round-by-round written instructions). The pattern is suitable for intermediate and more experienced knitters.
