Herding Cats Stranded Hat
NOTE There is also a Double Knit version of this pattern! Be sure to get the correct pattern based on your preferences!! This pattern is for the Stranded version. The Double Knit version can be found over here!
This is a whimsical knit design that has a bunch of cats along a fence. Just try herding all those cats!! This project is perfect for a beginner who wants to try stranded knitting for the first time, but it is also suitable for those who are advanced beginners and experienced knitters as well. The pattern includes four large charts, but you only need to use two for the hat - you can choose which cats to add!
The hat can be made a bit larger from the base to the crown by adding a few more rows of plain knit before beginning the beginning of the chart and also at the end before beginning the crown decreasing. The hat can also be made larger around by casting on a few extra stitches and adding a few more stitches in between the charts.
