This was my first published pattern, published in The Crochet Yearbook, volume 2. I originally designed this for my daughter for her first Easter, and I got an overwhelming response to it. She had her pictures taken for the newspaper. Here comes baby bunny was not my choice for a name for this pattern, my choice was Bunnie Suit (miss spelled on purpose)

This outfit is crocheted from the bottom up using a very fine baby yarn that is almost fingering weight (I realize that the book says sport weight but that is too heavy for this outfit). It features the use of the loop stitch which is one of my favorite stitches. It is made like a blanket sleeper with buttons in the back and at the crotch. The hat is a separate piece with large bunny ears with pink centers.
