The handsome Heritage Cardigan is a classic colorwork menswear cardigan. A traditional Fair Isle motif is worked in a band across the chest, splitting the two-tone top and bottom. The cardigan is made from the bottom up and the sleeves are seamed into the armholes.

Yarn Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool (45% wool, 35% silk, 20% nylon; 191 yd 175 m/50 g): #59 hazy blue (A), 5 (6, 6, 7, 8) skeins; #8 moss (green; B), 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) skeins; #54 coffee bean brown (C), 1 skein; #36 cinnamon (gold; D), 1 (1, 2, 2, 2) skein(s); #56 Bristol red (E), 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.

Needles Sizes 5 (3.75 mm) and 6 (4 mm): 16” and 32” circular (cir) and set of double- pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if neces- sary to obtain the correct gauge.
