Construction
This cardigan is worked in one piece from the top down with a circular yoke construction and steek stitches down the center front. Short rows are used to raise the back neck and optional short rows are included again after the colorwork raising the lower half of yoke. Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm, then worked individually down to cuff and hem. Body includes optional A-line waist shaping. The neckline, hem, cuffs and buttonbands are worked in 1x1 rib. Body and sleeve lengths may be adjusted (note that adjustments in length will affect total yardage
required of MC).
The button bands are worked after the steek has been cut.
