Why Hermes 3000? After the first sample was knit, the colors reminded me of the keys on my vintage Swiss Hermes 3000 typewriter (see photo). After acquiring that model plus an even older Olympia from a family estate sale I’m honestly getting the collector bug (help!). This cowl is simple to knit but is an excellent way to exercise control over color dominance and how you carry yarn for stranded knitting. It would also be a great stashbusting/scrappy pattern!
