A cosy cape with generous rib collar, folded over, this design features an interesting herringbone stitch pattern and rounded cabled edges. Construction starts with the rib collar, knitted in the round, then switches to Herringbone Stitch working back and forth on circular needles. It ends with a short rib section and the cable edges are grafted to complete.
This a fairly quick knit with some interesting techniques although probably challenging for the beginner.
The original yarn - a 100% British chunky wool - is now discontinued, but try good yarn shops or www.yarnsub.com for suggested substitutions.
