Hespero
An interesting alternative to a scarf, based on the wide top-down triangle, this is a long and relatively narrow piece that wraps extravagantly. It’s all about warmth, with the double-layer brioche fabric. The shaping is slightly adjusted – rather than working increases around a central spine, they move outwards to form a wedge. The wedge is then shaped to a shallow triangle with short-rows. This piece was designed to be the very opposite of what many consider to be a shawl: it’s casual and sturdy and not-at-all feminine.
Pattern is entirely adjustable for different yarns and gauges, and different sizes.
