Something about this stitch pattern called to me, “Knitter Bunny, make me into some fingerless mitts!” I couldn’t ignore the stitch pattern for long, and the result is this fun and easy pair of cabled mitts.

The original stitch pattern, written for flat knitting, came from Cables Untangled by Melissa Leapman. I have changed it to a “pattern in the round” for this mitt. This mitt would be nice in Cascade 220 or another wool/wool blend yarn to help keep the cables crisp.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice knitter.

Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: Studio Donegal Soft Donegal, 100% Merino, Berry color, approx. 110 yards
