The Woolcraft Hexagon Temperature Blanket Knitting Pattern, designed by Nicola Valiji using Woolcraft New Fashion DK Yarn, is now available.

Keep a record of the weather for the year with this fun and colourful blanket. Perfect as an ongoing daily project, or research temperature data from previous years to create a quicker final piece.

This blanket is made up of 52 hexagons with 7 days making one Hexagon. The hexagons are then sewn together in the order they are knitted. The colour of every day should be changed according to the highest temperature of the day. Each colour below has been assigned to a temperature range; this version should work well for anywhere within the UK using degrees Celsius.

The shades used for this blanket are a cooler palette of pinks, purples and blues but this pattern is easily adaptable should you prefer to create in your own colour scheme using other shades from the Woolcraft New Fashion DK range.
