Here’s the Hide and Peak sweater, an easy-breezy stranded colourwork sweater that is knitted top down with the option of either long or cropped sleeves.

NEEDLES
Circular needles, at least 40 in (100 cm) in length, in two sizes:
❖ US 5 / 3.75 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
❖ US 3 / 3.25 mm or two sizes smaller than main needles
Double-pointed needles in the same two sizes for the sleeves and smaller circumferences, if you’re not using the magic-loop method
GAUGE
❖ 20 sts and 30 rnds = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked
❖ 20 sts and 25 rnds = 4 in (10 cm) in stranded colourwork in the round, blocked
TOOLS
❖ Removable stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn and a tapestry needle
