The High Line Hat is a unisex, textured hat, worked in the round, producing a completely reversible fabric so that no side of the tracks is the wrong side. ;) Inspired by New York City’s historic elevated railway, the 1 x 1 ribbing echoes the rails, whilst the sleepers have inspired rounds of garter stitch.

This straightforward hat with its graduated shaping allows for multiple styles of wearing. Wear it with the crown peaked to show the meeting of the rails, or slightly slouchy for a more relaxed vibe. The brim can also be worn folded up.

It comes in four sizes, including Child, Teen/ Small Adult, Medium Adult, and Large Adult.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES:
The hat begins using a 1x1 Tubular cast on for the brim. If this is not your thing, then use whatever cast-on you prefer, remembering to keep it as elastic as possible, e.g. long tail cast on is a good alternative.
