Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.

A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The High Rise Toque is a simple colourwork toque using slip stitches to create a faux brioche look. It uses two colours of bulky yarn for some beautiful contrast.

Sizes offered:
Adult Large (22-25 inch head circumference)

these sizes are given with their approximate head measurement range, please make sure to base your sizing off of the measurements, not the age range. I recommend choosing a size where you fall towards the middle/upper end of the range to make sure the hat is appropriately snug.

Needles required:
8 mm for body (16 inch cord)
may need other size needles to meet gauge

Gauge: 13 sts x 20 rows = 4 x 4 inch swatch (in pattern, steam blocked, in the round)

Yarn required: two colours of any bulky weight yarn that you can get gauge with (I used Treehouse Knits Bulky in Skyfall for COlour A (109 yds per 100 g) and Knitpicks Biggo in Bare for Colour B (110 yds per 100 g))
