High Street
by Ann Weaver
This deeply textured cowl was instpired by Karida’s memories of cold Columbus winters. The pattern stitch is an abstract version of a buckeye, the nut from the official tree of Ohio.
High Street uses one strand of Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Worsted held with one strand of Neighborhood Fiber Co. Loft, a silk and mohair blend. The result is a soft, shimmering fabric with a great halo. This requires 320 yards of each yarn.
