Highbury Halter - A delicate vest top in halter-neck style that is supported at the back and held together with a cord or ribbon of your choice. It is designed to be loose and flowing around the hips, with a nice curve at the hem, featuring a braided detail which also appears under the lace. A light summery top, ideal for those balmy evenings, or as a dressy top for special nights out.

Yarn & Quantity
4ply/Fingering Weight yarn: Oh So Fine! 4 ply from Cat & Sparrow – 55% BFL / 45% Silk. 437yds (400m) 100g. XS: 625 yds (571 m)/ S: 811 yds (741 m) / M: 878 yds (803 m)/ L: 1026 yds (938 m)/ 1XL: 1174 yds (1073 m) / 2XL: 1335 yds (1221 m) / 3XL: 1499 yds (1371 m). Optional: Approx. up to 10g of contrast colour yarn of the same weight.

Gauges
Gauge in Stockinette stitch (blocked): 26 sts by 37 rows over 4” (10cm) square.
Gauge in Lace (blocked): 26 sts by 32 rows over 4” (10cm) square.
Both on larger size needles.

Tools & Notions
3.5mm (US 4) (or size required to get gauge) & 3mm (US 2.5) 80cm (32”) or longer circular needles; 3.5mm (US 4) crochet hook; yarn bobbin (or clothes peg); 2 stitch markers plus 10 extra markers for pattern repeat guidance; measuring tape and tapestry needle for seaming up and weaving in ends.

Optional Notions (if you are not making your own i-cord or braid): 1 yard (1 metre) of 0.75” (2cm) wide Ribbon or 0.35” (1cm) thick braided cord.
