The Highgate pattern is a deep cowl–neck pullover with a cable-work panel running up both the front and the back, flanked by an overall Knit 3, Purl 3 ribbing. The cowl neck, also Knit 3, Purl 3 ribbing, is worked seperately and sewn on to the garment in the finishing stages. The cabling pattern is written-out, not charted. The sweater has slight waistline shaping and set-in sleeves.
