Hiiulihei
A free version is also available.
Hiiulihei socks have a fresh maritime feeling. With a bit of sea foam and traditional seafarers’ stripes they transport you to the seaside breezes in no time. These socks will keep you warm when sea gets stormy and comfort your feet after long coastline walks.
Hiiulihei socks are worked top down and they have a reinforced heel. Two welts keep the leg in shape and a lacey ribbing gives space to the calf. Mariniere stripes decorate the long legs which fit tightly on your legs. Heel turn is worked in a contrasting colour. For a bit of maritime fun, the striping sequence changes on the feet – you can play with the stripes if you like! The toe has a radiate decrease which gives it a nice round shape.
Hiiulihei socks were knitted with Aara Aatos, a wonderfully soft merino sock yarn in lovely handdyed colours. Choose your favourite DK sock yarn and enjoy knitting Hiiulihei socks!
