3 mm / US 2.5 DPNs for the armhole edges (or a circular needle suitable for the Magic Loop technique).

3.5 mm / US 4, 60 cm / 24” circular needle or longer for the hem ribbing.
4 mm / US 6, 60 cm / 24” circular needle or longer for the body.
Or needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
GAUGE:
19 sts and 33 nds = 10 cm / 4” over Stockinette Stitch in the round with 4 mm / US 6 needles.
NOTIONS:
Stitch markers, darning needle, waste yarn or stitch holders, 5 buttons (diameter approx. 12 mm / 0.5”)
METHOD:
The dress is worked from the top down starting from the back neck and then the upper back is worked flat until the underarms. You pick up stitches from the shoulder straps to work the upper front until the underarms. Finally the pieces are joined on the same circular needle and the body is forked flat until the beginning of the skirt part. You work the skirt in the round. The neckline, hem, button bands and armholes are finished with ribbed edges.
