Hills of Donegal Socks
Hills of Donegal is a unisex, cuff down sock design. The pattern has been written for both DK weight and Fingering/4ply weight yarn. The design features a colour work cuff, which is charted in the pattern. The motif is inspired by my many trips to Donegal where we visit family. Their view of Aghla and Lough Finn is breath-taking. The socks also feature a heel flap and gusset, textured instep and a short row toe.
Yarn + Needles
Any fingering/4ply or DK weight sock yarn will work for this design. The yarn used for the socks in the photos is Coop Knits Socks Yeah! 75% Superwash Merino 25% Nylon
