To alter length simply add some addition granny stitch rows to the bottom of your top once front and back panels are complete and before beginning on sides.

Any 8 ply 100% cotton would work great with this top. You may also like to make a winter version to wear over a long sleeve top using acrylic, wool or other yarns.
