Hippocampus Greek Mythological Sea Creature Crochet Pattern (printable PDF File consists of 21 Pages).

This Pattern is written in US Terminology and is available in English.

A mystical, magical Hippocampus straight from the Greek Mythology off the swim the seas.
Not to be mistaken for the Kelpie which is a vicious sea creature, the Hippocampus is a sweet, caring creature that many would ride in all the stories.

The pattern is 21 pages and has lots of step by step pictures to help you along your way.

Size: Approximately 10 inches / 25.5cm tall from Head Fin to bottom of the neck/chest, 31 inches / 79cm from nose to tail.

Required:
8 Ply, DK Yarn.
(I used a multicoloured yarn but you can make this in any colours that you want).

US size G (4mm crochet hook).

14 mm to 16 mm Safety Eyes. (I used 16mm but you might prefer the smaller ones).

Polyester Toy Filling.

Tapestry Needle.

Pins.

Scissors.

Stitch Marker(s).

Yarn:
I had a ball of 150g / 480 meters of 8 ply/DK yarn, however I did not use all of it, so this is just approximately what you will need.

SKILL LEVEL:

Suitable for intermediate.
