A slouchy beanie in super-bulky yarn, Hiro will come to the rescue when frigid winds blow. This fast-to-make winter cap has a raised-welt edging for head-hugging warmth.

It’s worked from the top down in spiral rounds.

SIZES
Small (Medium, Large, Extra Large)
to fit 21 (22, 23, 24) in./
53 (56, 58, 61) cm head sizes

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
NOTE: The band of the slouchy is designed to be smaller than actual head circumference with approx. 2 in./5 cm of negative ease.

Circumference at bottom edge:
19 (20, 21, 22) in./
48 (51, 53, 56) cm
Depth:
Approx. 10 in./25 cm

YARN
NOTE: I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick in Blossom and Marble. You may also use a yarn mix -- two or more yarns held together -- that equals a super bulky weight yarn; I used two strands of Vanna’s Choice in Barley for the brown hat.
