When knitting this comforting blanket, you may find your mind wandering to faraway places as your hands fall into the therapeutic rhythm of working garter-stitch stripes. The Hodophile Blanket is knitted modularly: all the blocks are joined together as they are worked. An I-cord edging gives the blanket a polished finish

NOTES

  • This blanket has a modular construction; each block is joined to the blanket as it is worked, either by picking up stitches or by knitting together with held stitches from a previous square. An I-cord edging is worked on all four sides.

  • The sample blanket used almost all of five skeins of MC. Consider purchasing an extra skein as insurance.

  • A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
