This is a colorwork pattern inspired by the Christmas colors, gingham pattern and the granny square.

The colors are carried as they are worked and the placement of the colors lends itself to the gingham pattern.

This square can be used in modular projects as well as a stand alone afghan pattern increased to the size needed. The yardage given is for a single square.

The possibilities of using the square are endless and as versatile as any crochet granny square.
