Holly Tablecloth
by Nancy Hearne
Calls for 14 balls white, 5 dark sage, and 2 burgundy.
Made in pieces, with 12 panels worked following a filet-crochet chart, and the central motif in the round. The panels are crocheted together, then the central motif is worked last and joined to the panels in the final round.
Holly clusters are worked intarsia-style, with thread held on bobbins and color changes worked as needed. When the thread not in use needs to be carried, it is hidden by wrapping the stitch around it.
