This shawl was inspired by Jem and the Holograms! I was highly motivated by how geometric shapes were very popular during the 80s and used that to work a triangular shawl that becomes a half circle shawl partway through! In addition, the general motifs found in the shawl are all “lightning bolt” reminiscent or angular, as well.

As an homage to Jerrica herself, I tried to make the shawl as reversible as possible to signify how Jerrica changes into Jem and basically looks the same (even if no one can actually tell who she is, ha).

Hologram was originally designed as an MKAL exclusive to my Patreon. It is still available as a complimentary pattern available to my Patreon supporters at any tier (link at bottom of page). Now also available as an individual download or as a bonus to my Truly Outrageous collection, which is a collection of Jem and the Hologram inspired hats!

Yardage listed is not including decorative edging.
NOTE: Ravelry asks for a range of yardage. I opted to enter the above added together as the low end up to the amount of four full skeins, as you can work a decorative edging that uses up a significant amount of remaining yardage. <3
