Honey Island
The Honey Island Swamp is one of the most pristine swampland habitats in the US. Rimmed by ancient cypress and peppered with wildlife, Honey Island breathes mist and swamp gases during the eerie autumn months.
The Honey Island Wrap is a classic triangle, generously sized against the foggy autumn dampness. Meditative knits and purls create a field of texture in the center section while garter stitch edges the cypress-inspired lower border. Beginning with a garter tab, Honey Island is worked downward using intuitively placed increases to create a time-honored triangle. The lower border is composed of easy arrowhead lace edged in garter stitch and finished with an Icelandic bind off.
