Inspired by the pages of a 1950s Italian fashion magazine, this textural sweater is sophisticated and casual all at once. It’s wide comfortable neck looks great on its own or with a collared shirt or t-shirt underneath. The stitch is a slipped stitch pattern that is easy to master. And the sizes run to fit a very small woman to a very large man. The sample was knitted in a merino with great stitch definition. This would also be a lovely summer sweater knitting in a cotton of the same gauge.
