Honeycomb Sweater
This pattern is in the December Issue of Happily Hooked Magazine coming out December 1, 2018.
The Honeycomb is a simple top-down raglan style sweater inspired by the intricate shapes of honeycomb made by bees in nature. The yoke follows a simple rhythm and the honeycomb pattern comes with a chart and written instructions that you can follow.
It is comes in US terms and with lots and lots of very helpful pictures.
Skill level: easy
Materials
YARN: Approximately (XS) 1000 m, (S)1020 m, (M) 1060 m, (L) 1090, (XL) 1130 m, (XXL) 1180 m, (XXXL)1240 m of DK yarn (size 3). Sample used Berroco, Ultra Wool DK, 100% superwash wool in color Butternut.
HOOKS: 4.5 mm or size needed to meet gauge; and 4 mm and 3.5 mm for the ribbed edges.
NOTIONS: 3 stitch markers (or scraps of yarn) and a tapestry needle.
Gauge: 16 sts x 6 dc rows and 6 sc rows (alternating dc and sc rows) = 4”/10 cm
Sizes + measurements: This pattern comes in 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL.
Bust: 81, 91, 101.5, 111.5, 122 and 132 cm.
Length (neck to bottom of ribbing): 42, 43, 45, 47, 50 and 53 cm.
Sleeves (neck to cuff): 53, 55, 57, 60, 63 and 67 cm.
(Body and sleeve length can be adjusted to taste)
