This is just the kind of cosy garment I wear when I want to stay warm in style. It’s knitted in two identical parts and stitched together at the sides.
The slipover has loads of stretch and the yarn drapes beautifully so it doesn’t look bulky. The shoulders are shaped to avoid too much fabric there, and the armhole openings are decorated with a braid that it stitched on.
If you want to make this into a dress, I suggest you add length where the cables are plain, before the honeycomb pattern.
