Deeply textured honeycomb cables decorate this seamless double layer cowl, making it both satisfying to knit and easy to wear! The knitterly construction will engage you and the small details, like the tidy slipped-stitch edges, will make your handiwork stand out. This timeless, gender-neutral cowl will be the perfect thing to keep you and your loved ones warm and happy on a cool day. And in Green Mountain Spinnary’s Mewesic you have a gorgeous palette of tweedy, soft, 100% fine wool to choose from. Mewesic’s springy texture and beautiful stitch definition make this the perfect choice for the honeycomb cables.

Construction
Honeydana is knit seamlessly from a top-down provisional cast on and begins by working flat like a triangular shawl. Once a comfortable neckline circumference is reached, stitches are joined in the round and worked like a cowl, with continued shaping to create the bandana front. The lower edge is finished with ribbing.

What testers are saying:

“I’m not often happy with cowls because they flop over at the top. But this construction makes it stay up perfectly. I love it.” Martina

“You worked your magic again! The video is perfect! It’s clear and gives such a great visual of what the next few rows entail!” - Deb
