With a signed permission slip from their parent or guardian, third years are allowed to visit Hogsmeade in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Not far from Hogwarts, this wizarding village is home to all sorts of shops and pubs, one of the most popular being Honeydukes. Filled to the brim with brightly colored sweets and treats on peppermint-green shelves, it also houses a secret tunnel leading to the school. On set, the child actors were told the candies were coated in lacquer to preserve them for filming, but in actuality, it was a fib told by the crew to prevent the children from eating the props!

This sweet treat is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Increases are hidden in the stranded colorwork yoke between Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavor Beans, the Honeydukes symbol, and Skeleton Pops, then the sleeves are separated and put on waste yarn. The rest of the body is worked straight with Chocolate Frog, Pumpkin Pasty, and Cauldron Cake motifs. The sleeves are picked back up and finished in a solid color. Classic 1x1 ribbing tops off the sleeve cuffs and neckline, with a ribbed split hem worked along the bottom.
