This asymmetric shawl is crocheted sideways from tip to end in a sock/fingering weight yarn (430 yards) with a size G (4mm) crochet hook. It has three sections with different stitches as it grows. It ends with a lambs tail edging worked along the side and bottom edges. The edging can be worked in another yarn. Finished blocked size was 62” neckline x 22” deep at end. For a larger shawl you will need extra yarn. You can use a thicker yarn and a larger hook though yarn requirements will change.
