Hookin Scarf
If you’re a fan of Loops Original patterns, then you’ve probably heard of the Effin’ Scarf, Loops’ top selling knitting pattern. An easy pattern loved by new and experienced knitters alike.
Crocheters rejoice because you now have a crochet version that has similar drape and shape and is every bit as easy!
And, just like the Effin’ Scarf, you can use a myriad of different yarns to get that great stylish look!
About 200-250 yards of any smooth DK or light worsted yarn can be used for this scarf. For an open, lightweight look, we recommend Knit Stars’ exclusive Plant Based Princess.
Using an 8-9mm hook with thin, smooth yarn gives you big lacey stitches and great loft and drape! You might even want to use a 10mm hook if you have a favorite smooth worsted or aran yarn that’s a little heavier.
This pattern also recommends the use of 2 locking stitch markers to mark the first stitch of each row. It’s a helpful step that you shouldn’t skip.
We have implemented a “Pay What Works” model for this pattern and plan to do the same with many of our most popular store patterns. We have set the default price to reflect the time and work that goes into the creative pursuit of pattern writing. However, we want our patterns to be accessible to all who wish to create! Please enter one of the coupon codes below when checking out to receive this pattern at a discounted price, based on what you feel you can contribute.
To purchase the pattern at a price point that is more accessible to you, use the coupon code at checkout listed next to the price point. The prices indicate the price you will pay, not the discount amount. No coupon code is needed for the highest price point. Thank you for supporting our work!
No Code = $7.00 (no discount) TOGETHER1 = $5.00 ($2 discount) TOGETHER2 = $3.00 ($4 discount)
