Hoovina Bandana
The perfect little accessory for a summer day. Using two contrasting colours, makes the floral design visible. The word Hoovina (ಹೂವಿನ) means floral in Kannada (the language of my state). The bandana is an extension of my square pattern- Little Puffer Square.
The pattern is worked in parts - initially worked in a round and then squared off and then shaped into a triangle. The square does not lay flat while working it but will lay flat after blocking.
Fingering weight yarn in 2 colours
C1-105 m/120 yds (35 gms)
C2-30 m/33 yds (10gms)
